Buildings do not turn into architecture because they are big, or because they are expensive, but because they have some sort of cultural content- some sort of meaning and usefulness. Diogene's barrel(picture) was gestural, and so it can be counted as belonging to the realm of architecture, even though it was a very minimal dwelling indeed.- Andrew Ballantyne
